"When in doubt' Doodle " has been my motto for a while. The act of beginning a drawing can be daunting for many people.
I find when I doodle every day, my mind and hand works in sync much more fluidly. While at Carnegie-Mellon many moons ago I had a wonderful and very tough professor, Doug Pickering. He was the guy who made paper airplanes out of our drawings and flew them out a window in the studio. They landed between two buildings where they sank into an open grave of prior student works ... but he was the best and we knew we were in for one treat after another while in his charge.
I will be posting snippets of his wisdom and wisdom of others from time to time. Please comment and share your experiences as well.
